Wedding chauffeur service in Chicago is a logistics job wearing a formal suit. Getting a bridal party from a hotel in the Loop to a church in Bridgeport, to photographs at the Riverwalk or Millennium Park, and into a reception in River North on schedule is not about the car. It is about the hour before the car.

We plan the day with your planner. Photo stops are routed and permitted where required. Vehicles stage where they will not be towed. The chauffeur stays with you from the first pickup to the last guest run, which means nobody is texting a dispatcher in a dress at 11 PM.

What Comes With a Chicago Wedding Booking

The parts of the day that only go wrong once.

A Planning Call

We walk the timeline with you or your planner: hair and makeup, first look, ceremony, photos, reception, guest shuttles, late-night departures.

Photo Stop Routing

Millennium Park, the Riverwalk, the Adler Planetarium skyline view, Olive Park and the Michigan Avenue bridgehouse. Staged, timed and legal to park at.

One Chauffeur All Day

The same person from the first pickup to the final drop. They learn the party, hold the bouquet, and know which door of the reception venue actually opens.

Vehicles Presented Right

Detailed the morning of. Red carpet available. Fiber-optic lighting and a bar console in the stretch limousine. Bottled water in every vehicle.

Guest Shuttles

Sprinter vans running loops between the hotel block and the venue, so out-of-town guests are not parking in River North on a Saturday night.

Licensed and Insured

Illinois-licensed commercial carrier with proper liability coverage. Many Chicago venues will ask for a certificate of insurance, and we provide it.

How It Works

Locking In Your Chicago Wedding Date

Saturdays from May through October are the tightest inventory in this business.

Reserve the Date

Tell us the date, the venue and roughly how many vehicles you think you need. Dates hold on a deposit long before the timeline is final.

Build the Timeline

Six to eight weeks out we walk the day with you or your planner, hour by hour, including photo stops and guest shuttle loops.

Confirm the Details

Final vehicle count, pickup addresses, chauffeur assignments, red carpet, decor allowances and the venue's certificate of insurance requirement.

Ride Your Day

Chauffeurs arrive early, detailed and dressed. The timeline runs. Guest shuttles run late. You never look at a clock.

Where Chicago Couples Photograph

The Photo Stops Worth Building a Route Around

Millennium Park and Cloud Gate remain the most requested stop in the city, and the least forgiving on parking. The Chicago Riverwalk between State and LaSalle gives you the bridges and the towers in one frame. The Adler Planetarium lakefront path delivers the full skyline and is worth the drive around Museum Campus.

Olive Park by Navy Pier at golden hour, the North Avenue Beach boardwalk with the Hancock behind it, and the Michigan Avenue bridgehouse plaza are the ones photographers ask us for by name.

Every one of them has a staging problem. We know where a stretch limousine can legally sit, where a Sprinter cannot turn around, and how long the walk actually is in heels.

The Part Nobody Plans For

It Is 11:40 PM, It Is Raining, and Your Aunt Needs a Ride

Wedding transportation is judged at the end of the night, not the beginning. Our chauffeurs are still there, the Sprinter is still looping to the hotel block, and nobody is standing under an awning on Kinzie waiting for a surge fare.

  • Late-night guest shuttles running as long as you need them
  • The same chauffeur from first pickup to final drop
  • Airport runs for out-of-town family across the whole weekend
  • Rehearsal dinner and morning-after brunch transportation

Chicago Wedding Geography

Venues and Corridors We Run Every Season

Chicago weddings cluster in a handful of neighborhoods, and each one has its own parking reality.

River North and the Loop

The densest reception corridor in the city. Loading zones on Kinzie, Hubbard and Illinois fill fast and tow enforcement is real.

West Loop and Fulton Market

Converted warehouses with narrow docks. A Sprinter fits where a stretch limousine genuinely does not, and we will tell you which.

Lincoln Park and the Lakefront

Ceremony at a church, photos at North Avenue Beach or the conservatory, reception nearby. Lake Shore Drive access closes for city events.

Museum Campus and Navy Pier

The Field Museum, Adler and Navy Pier all have controlled vehicle access. Credentials and staging need to be arranged in advance.

Suburban Estates and Country Clubs

Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Lake Forest and Wheaton. Long driveways, gate codes, and guests who need a shuttle from a hotel block.

Airport Weekends

Out-of-town family arriving at O'Hare and Midway across Thursday and Friday, departing Sunday. One account, one invoice, one schedule.

Why Chicago Books Us

Why Chicago Couples Book Us

Six reasons the transportation vendor should not be the one you worry about.

We Plan, Not Just Drive

A real planning call, a real timeline, real staging locations. Your planner will notice the difference within five minutes.

Held Hourly, Not Rushed

The vehicle is yours for the hours you book. If photos run long, nothing happens except that photos run long.

Venue-Ready Paperwork

Certificates of insurance for venues that require them, provided the same day. Many Chicago venues will not admit an uninsured vehicle.

Presented Properly

Detailed the morning of, chauffeurs in suits, red carpet on request, and a bar console with glassware in the stretch limousine.

Guests Handled

Sprinter shuttles between the hotel block and the venue mean no guest parks in River North on a Saturday and no guest drives home after a toast.

Someone Answers

Twenty-four hour dispatch during your weekend. If something changes at 10 PM on Friday, a person picks up the phone.

Common Questions

Chicago Wedding Chauffeur Service FAQs

What couples and planners ask us before reserving a date.

How much does wedding transportation cost in Chicago?

Chicago wedding transportation is booked hourly. A Lincoln stretch limousine and a fourteen-passenger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter both start at $140 per hour, a Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator at $95 per hour, a GMC Yukon XL at $92 and a Ford Expedition at $90. Wedding bookings carry a minimum number of hours that is longer on Saturdays between May and October. Most Chicago weddings use two to four vehicles across the day, and we price the full plan rather than each car.

How far in advance should we book a Chicago wedding limousine?

For a Saturday between May and October, six to twelve months out is normal and the stretch limousine is the first vehicle to go. Fridays and Sundays hold longer. Winter weddings can often be booked inside of two months. A deposit holds the date before your timeline is finalized, and we do the detailed planning call six to eight weeks out once the venue, the photographer and the ceremony time are locked.

Can the limousine stop for photographs around the city?

Yes, and we route the day around it. The most requested Chicago photo stops are Millennium Park and Cloud Gate, the Riverwalk between State and LaSalle, the Adler Planetarium skyline view, Olive Park near Navy Pier, North Avenue Beach and the Michigan Avenue bridgehouse plaza. Each has a different staging and parking reality, and some require permits for commercial vehicles. We handle the staging so your photographer only has to think about light.

Do you provide shuttles for our wedding guests?

Yes. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans run continuous loops between your hotel block and the venue, before the ceremony and after the reception, for as long as you book them. It is the single most appreciated line item on a Chicago wedding budget, because it means no out-of-town guest tries to park in River North on a Saturday night and no guest drives home after the toasts. Loops are priced hourly per vehicle.

Will you handle airport pickups for our out-of-town family?

Yes, across the entire wedding weekend, on the same account and the same invoice. Give us the flight numbers and we track each aircraft from pushback, meet arriving family at O'Hare or Midway curbside or inside baggage claim, and run departures on Sunday. Transfers from downtown start at $95. Suburban venues in Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Lake Forest or Wheaton are quoted flat by distance rather than by meter.

Does the stretch limousine have a bar and is BYOB allowed?

The Lincoln stretch limousine has a bar console with glassware, an ice well and fiber-optic cabin lighting. You are welcome to bring your own beverages for passengers of legal drinking age; we do not sell or supply alcohol. Illinois law prohibits open containers for anyone under twenty-one and for the chauffeur, and our chauffeurs will end a booking if the vehicle is being used by minors to consume alcohol. Glassware, ice and water are provided.

Can we decorate the vehicle?

Within reason, yes. Ribbon, a Just Married sign and magnetic decor on exterior panels are all fine. What we ask you to avoid is anything adhesive on paint or glass, anything that obstructs the chauffeur's view or lights, and confetti or glitter inside the cabin, which carries a cleaning charge because it never fully leaves a limousine. Talk to us at the planning call and we will tell you exactly what your venue and vehicle allow.

What happens if our reception runs late?

Tell your chauffeur and keep dancing. Additional hours are billed at the same hourly rate in defined increments, disclosed before your wedding day, with no penalty rate for running long. Because the vehicle is assigned to your booking, extensions are nearly always possible. The one exception is a vehicle already committed to another wedding immediately afterward, and if that is the case we will tell you at booking so you can add the hours in advance.

Planning Wedding Transportation in Chicago

Build the Timeline Backward From the Ceremony

Every wedding transportation plan starts at the ceremony time and works backward. If the ceremony is at 3 PM in Bridgeport and the bridal party is at a hotel in the Loop, the vehicle needs to be at the hotel curb by 2:00 at the latest, which means the chauffeur leaves the garage at 1:30, which means the vehicle was detailed that morning.

Then work forward. Photographs after the ceremony, which almost always run longer than scheduled. A reception in River North with a cocktail hour that starts whether or not you are there. Guest shuttles beginning an hour before dinner. The last departure at midnight or later. Most Chicago couples underbook the back half of the day, not the front.

Which Vehicle for Which Part of the Day

The couple takes the stretch limousine. It seats ten, has a bar console and fiber-optic lighting, and it makes the arrival that the photographs want. It is hourly-only and it is the first vehicle to sell out on a Saturday.

The bridal party takes the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Fourteen seats, a stand-up cabin so dresses arrive uncreased, and luggage racks for shoes, steamers and emergency kits. Parents and grandparents take a Cadillac Escalade or a GMC Yukon XL, both of which have an easy step-in and a short walk to the door. Guests take Sprinter shuttles looping to the hotel block. Airport runs across the weekend take whatever SUV fits the luggage.

The Chicago Venues That Need Special Handling

River North and the West Loop hold most of the city's reception venues, and both have genuine vehicle constraints. Converted Fulton Market warehouses have narrow loading docks where a Sprinter fits and a stretch limousine does not. River North tow enforcement on Kinzie, Hubbard and Illinois is aggressive on Saturday nights.

Museum Campus venues, including the Field Museum and the Adler Planetarium, and Navy Pier all have controlled vehicle access requiring credentials arranged in advance. Suburban estates and country clubs in Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Lake Forest and Wheaton have long private drives and gate codes. Every one of these is a solved problem for us and an expensive surprise for a vendor seeing it for the first time on your wedding day.

Peak Chicago Wedding Dates and Why They Sell Out

Chicago's wedding season runs from May through October, and Saturdays in that window are the scarcest inventory in the ground transportation business. Add the dates that compress supply for reasons unrelated to weddings: prom season through April and May, Windy City Smokeout and Taste of Chicago in early July, Lollapalooza across Grant Park from July 30 through August 2, the Air and Water Show in mid-August, and the Chicago Marathon in October.

If your wedding falls on or near any of those, book the transportation when you book the venue. Our rates do not rise on peak dates, which is unusual and deliberate, but the stretch limousine and the Sprinter vans do run out.
